Diva's wrestling.Basically Women's Wrestling. Ever since the WWE started considering their women wrestlers as Diva's, women's wrestling has been terrible. Back then you see great wrestlers like Lita, Trish Startus, Molly Holly, Victoria, even Jazz, and more. Now, you just see crappy bitches(not to offened no one), that are just models. So the question is, Should WWE bring back the meaning of Women's Wrestling and get rid of the word, Diva?

I gave up on woman's wrestling in WWE.TNA is one of the best woman division today, also there SHIMMER which is a all woman wrestling promotion. So I don't care that WWE give up on woman wrestling because I gave up on them.

The WWE women's division is a work in progress, but you have to admit that they had done a good job of trimming the fat over the last couple of years.
I have always said that diva's matches last half as long as men's matches and the key is really having a couple of good setup moves and a off the hook finisher. Beth Phoenix and Melina are a good example of this.
They are constantly shuffling the women in my opinion because there is a lot of backstage drama going on as far as the pecking order goes. As we all know gentlemen, women are a lot harder to work with and in my opinion it is just a matter of time before they step their game up in the ring and start involving themselves in some interesting storylines which in all reality makes or breaks the women's division.
The Beautiful People are not the greatest of wrestlers, but there gimmick is perhaps the best in women's history. They need to create some solid storylines and these bitches need to start getting a lot more ferocious when they get an opportunity to speak. Either drop a tagline, insult the crowd, or tear down your opponent verbally. These ladies just aren't getting it done when they get a chance to speak and that has been one of the major problems. They have some good pieces, but they need to start putting them all together and they definitely need some women that can work. Much like that couple of divas that Beth Phoenix has ran through in the last couple of weeks on smack down

Ah, yes... Divas/Knockouts wrestling. The entire reason I got back into watching wrestling over the summer was because I wanted to see what the Knockouts were capable of doing over in TNA. I had been a huge fan of WWE for years, and towards the end of my "fan-dom" I realize that there were maybe one or two good female wrestlers still in the "E". Problem was... they were looking like crap because the models they were wrestling weren't worth the time to train properly. The matches looked horrible and ultimately tarnished Vince's idea of "women wrestling". Though, it was very clear that he didn't give a damn about the product, he just wanted to see women in tight clothing go out and fight for about 4-5 minutes every night. With TNA, it's different. Sure, they have their "sexy" Knockouts - The Beautiful People as a whole - and, overall the whole female roster is pretty damn attractive in their own ways. But, TNA wants to show that they're not all about looks; that the in-ring product is what they're actually trying to sell. And for me personally, it worked. I tune in every week for the Knockouts, but I've started coming around to the other side of thing - the storylines, etc - and have to say that I'm generally more impressed with iMPACT then I would be with any show being produced by WWE at this time. *deep breath* Wow. That was longer than I thought it would be. But, oh well, there's my two cents. Enjoy!

I think you are definitely speaking for the people when you say TNA has the better women's wrestling right now. They have for a long time. The fact that they are willing to have a steel cage match at their pay-per-view between Tara and Awesome Kong is pretty much all the proof that we need that TNA is trying to do something different with the women. Plus we have Hamada the hard-core diva doing back flips through tables off the top rope. Enough said

I think the cage match between Kong & Tara is going to be very good. Especially with all the backstory going around their little feud, it should be an awesome cage match. You'd never see the likes of that in the "E"... but since TNA's having one, I wouldn't put it past Vince to at least try it... And, Hamda is pretty damn hardcore. But, you also can't look past Alissa Flash. I would love to see her witih the Knockout's Title. Would add a lot to the "Future Legend" gimmick...

Was it just me or did Alissa Flash look extra hot this week? There is something how about a girl who wears the same kind of traditional tights that a man would wear. For some reason when a female does it looks like she is coming out in her wonder woman panties and even though she was wearing a spandex turtleneck for some reason it really worked for the cannon. Not to mention, she is definitely one of the top five workers in all of woman's wrestling and that is what really counts!
Great job on making a contribution WickedRex! I can tell like the most of us, that you are a TNA mark

I noticed that too. She was very hot looking on impact but I cannot think why. I'd not noticed her before...

It's because she kept touching herself and psychologically that does something to us animalistic perverts.
Please keep touching yourself Alyssa. Even when I know why I'm being a dirt bag it still doesn't stop me. What's wrong with me?

Yeah, Alissa definitely looked good this week. I kept hoping she was gonna pull off the turtleneck and reveal her normal wrestling attire, but after a few minutes I stopped noticing because I was too busy staring at the bottome half. I think it has to do with the amount of tight clothing she wears on a weekly basis... and the fact that she's not a stick figure just adds to it. And, she is definitely one of the better workers in TNA today. But, I think that has a lot to do with her past experience as Cheerleader Melissa through the indies. And, I'm really glad they ended the Rahisa Saed (sp?) character, because that means she can focus on fine-tuning the Alissa character.

WWE definately has some hot woman in WWE, but the porn I watch is of a much higher quality. The girls end up with no clothes and in all sorts of better positions than an inside cradle pass.

YO Yo Yo, let me speak on this...
(i`m mad so ignore my spelling errors!)
I`m probably going to amke my biggest post ever on here cause were talking about something i keep near and dear to my heart. i love womens wrestling. thats no secret, i have had the pleaseure of meeting and knowing some awesome wrestlers in the past. the best have been women! and i wanna talk about the diffrences u guys talk about in the wwe and the other feds. stop and take a look at shimmer first of all. take a look at the women that work in that fed. these laides take bumps some men are to prissy to do!! we have a fed here that is beast and that means a lot to many of us!!! many fo the women we watch in tna came from there. and these are women that can work. which brings me to my next point a woman worker,
a woman worker is not a chicks that can fall on her back and bump. a woman worker is the woman that knows she needs to tuck her chin a lil on a bump, a woman that may have lost a tooth and may have got a black eye in a match. not some one whop has a breast implant bust. cause breast implanmts dont go with wrestling. they are just a gimmick to make u look!!!! many of the women u see in wwe if not all have afake tits. and what do fake tits do as fafr as wrestling ablity, i mean really. yea its nice to have that to look at but i mean shit, i can pop in pine cones and traffic cones if i wanted to see something dirty and wild with fake tits.!!!
next thing, wwe DIVAS,
ya know i dont like the name diva anyway when ti comes to wrestling. the real divas in the begining were opera singers. women opera singers. now i dont think these hoes have much to do with that but shit!! if the shoe fits wear it they say right, well in this case the show dont fit. it 3 sizes to big!! these hoes are not smart sex and powerful. i dont even know if they are smart where it matters!!!! u need to be smart in the ring! i dont give a damn if u went to bobs college for the arts or not. the wwe has lost a spring in its step over a long period of time! it has come down and has become a hunk of shit! its a turd thats steaming on its own lil hot rock in the dessert! and it stays that way cause they pander to the kids of today that dont know any better. lousy wwe bastards. but i digrees, i`m off topic..
The implant buster, if that was done in the wwe how many women would refuse to take it??? i mean really they water down workers and make them way less effective!! i am sick and tired of the wwe machine throwing bullshit to us to eat and then try to convince us this is real wrestling. it makes me even more mad that the kids of today wont know any better!! they think this is how women wreslte!!! of course we know this is not real!!! this is not how women wrestle as they see it on the wwe,its the indies its the shimmers, its the stuff like that that give us hope in the next generation of workers!!!
and verbal cody again is so right the women in porno get in better positions and look way hotter, may i suggest u try watching downloading or renting "Women of the pretzle, the TWISTED edition". these chicks get turned so many diffrent ways i swear a shoulder pops out of socket but the drilling continues!!!! its hot as a egg on a blacktop road, on a sunny day in august son!!!!

Great post Shaun and I think it is the longest in your at TIP history
I want to point out though that Beth Phoenix uses a version of the implant buster herself. Boobs are a lot more durable than you think. When I was shopping for my valet I was worried about the integrity of the implant myself. Until the doctor whipped that sucker like a baseball pitcher and threw the tit 80 mph into a concrete wall. Not a dent! Then I pulled and squeeze and twisted trying my hardest to break it and still nothing. Those fake titties can take a licking...... Literally if you live with me

yea beth does do a kinda sorta impact buster. but i think the work of awesome kong would be to stiff for thr lil sweetheart hoes we see walking round in wwe. i think if beth went to tna i think she would have a lot more fun and i think it would see her treated better overall as storylines go! y do these hoes in wwe have to do the storylines with guys as thier g.f.? y not just be ureself and do ure own damn thing this is some dumb ass shit lol
wwe doesnt seem to be after men they seem to be after lil girls in thier teens and some teen boys. its a product for the folks that watch the day time soaps to get into.. it aint what it used to be, and i know we say that all the time but if i was a womans group, i would be mad that they call this girls smart sexy and powerful and they come across as weak, sexy, and dumb!!!! stupid ass wwe machine!!

So I decided to make this my first post as this is a topic I have ranted about to wrestling friends for hours on end. I'm not going to say I've been watching my whole life because there was a time when my mom decided wrestling was not allowed in the house. I watched it quite frequently when I was a little kid at my friend's house with her dad but I was so young I just got pulled in by characters like Sting, I wasn't really into wrestling itself. Now I'm older, went to college and was fortunate enough to get a roommate who was a HUGE wrestling fan and she reintroduced me to wrestling and my how things have changed. Over the past four years I've been watching constantly and one of the main things that gets me pissed off every week watcing WWE is the Divas. I think the thing that pisses me off the most is they do actually have women who can wrestle but those are the ones who don't get near as much TV time as the models. I also agree with WickedRex about the models screwing up the matches of the real female wrestlers. It frustrates me to no end to see one real female wrestler in what ends up being a very lackluster match because she's stuck in the ring with one of the models who can't wrestle worth shit. The Divas are also not used in real solid story lines unless they're on the arm of one of the male wrestlers as part of HIS storyline. They kind of started something this last week between McCool and Mickie James but we'll see if they actually turn it into a real story line or just leave it as random acts of bitchiness. Now onto TNA. Overall I love the Knockouts division because they have, for the most part, women who can actually wrestle. The other thing they provide is distinct characters. There are some of the Divas I wouldn't be able to tell apart if their names didn't appear on the screen when they walked out. The Knockouts are all distinct personalities and I love that. Although I do wish they would get rid of LVE, she is by far their weakest link and does not come close to replacing Angelina Love in the ring or out. Aside from LVE, the women of the Knockouts division put on great matches most of the time and show a larger audience than is hit by the indies that women actually can wrestle instead of just being eyecandy that botch moves. I also recently started watching ROH and as a result have started to get to see the women of the indies. I watch ROH and TNA and wonder how the hell the WWE manages to have such an incredibly weak women's division when there are so many amazing women wrestlers out there. Then I remember, they aren't in it to make a wrestling show, they're in it to make a 'sports entertainment' show, emphasis on the entertainment.

Well that was one hell of a first submission MFS! It was really refreshing to get a female's perspective. I like what you said about females not being allowed to have their own storylines unless they are involved in one of the guys and this is something that I have been harping on for ever now.
Women generally are better actresses and if you created the proper storyline the men would definitely be interested as long as it culminated to a good wrestling match. There needs to be more back and forth promos between the woman wrestlers and they need to create some genuine heat in order to generate some interest in the division.
One last thing please tell me what Taylor Wilds distinct personality is. I have been trying to figure it out since she got there. Does she even have a personality? Not trying to be nasty, but she should be the open lesbian of the TNA knockout division.

Yeah I think the WWE only has a few divas who would be able to both be compelling heels and faces along with pulling off a good wrestling match. It's what needs to be done but sadly they are focusing on the models who can't act or wrestle their way out of a paper bag. They would have to make it one hell of a story line leading to a legendary match to bring interest and credibility to the divas division at this point. They've done so much damage to women's wrestling it would take more effort than they are willing to put into it to undo even part of that damage. You got me on the Taylor Wilde comment. I really don't know but gladly she's the exception to the rule in TNA, which in it's own way makes her stand out.

How did you feel about the "Piggy" James incident MFS? I thought this was a good attempt to start an angle with the divas and Mickey looked genuinely hurt even though we all know she was just acting she did a good job of it.

I don't know. I guess I just don't like Michell McCool enough to get into it. I love Mickie and she did do a good job of acting hurt, although if you listen to the rumor sites it was meant to genuinely hurt her but who knows how true that is. I would like to see if they can manage to turn it into a real story line. McCool might not be my favorite but if they can put together a decent storyline and keep fans interest it might be the start of something but I really don't have enough faith in the WWE to follow through with anything when it comes to the Divas.
