I enjoy the new direction that Dixie Carter is taking TNA, the way that explained to the talent is the right way to make things worked better. TNA need to make their mark NOW. Now that WWE is going pg and the Linda situation with the congress, is making a WWE look weaker in the eyes of the fans and the entertainment industry.

TNA need to get more young talents under the direction of the more experience wrestlers. But Dixie needs to be the one that control the brand and not the Hogan’s, the Jarrett, the Nash. None of the old timers. She should use their experience and ideas, in the industry, in order to make something totally new for the fans.

Some of the young wrestlers that come to my mind are: Austin Aries, Tyler Black, The Briscoe brothers ,Bryan Danielson , Shinsuke Nakamura , Mistico and Ryusuke Taguchi & Prince Devitt.

All these wrestlers would bring something new to the company, something unique to the USA. Pure WRESTLING.

So what you guys think?

One question i have is that if Dixie Carter is going in a new direction and should sign all these young up and coming wrestlers what do Hogan and Bischoff coming into TNA have to do with that?

which leaves the question why is this relevant?

To me nothing if this passed Impact was anything to go by, then why it was just Promo after promo then i think they wont be going to get what they want. She wants focus on the young stars in there then by all means go for it just i wouldn't want to watch to many promos each week.. So if this is the new direction they want to go in then i'd rather be watching Smackdown. I just hope with all this Hogan talk dies down and they start to once again focuse on the rising talant that they have.

well Enigma... it seems the new direction they are going in and the direction you want them to go in are complete contradictions

Wrestling is a many sided business. TNA has given up on the 'home for pure wrestling' fans long ago, and quashed it with the mEm and putting Nash on pay per view

You want them to absorb the ROH roster. I dont see why? Why don't you just watch more ROH? Did you see the tag team match this week between Strong/Danielson VS The American Wolves? Anyone who didnt see that should check it out, 26 minute main event, and a better wrestling match than TNA or WWE has put on their shows or pay per views in years... and this is the quality ROH always has

Im excited about TNA for totally different reasons than young wrestlers and pure talent. They have amazing in ring wrestlers as always, but they have no more time for wrestling matches than WWE does. Thats OK, if you're a lucky fan like me who enjoys everything from a 80's cartoon wrestling to a 30 minute technical match

wish McGuinness was still in ROH though. Or I could trade my Nigel T shirt for a Bobby Dempsey one

He can do lots of unexplainable things. Don't you know? The one thing I have learned to ask, is to stop asking because you won't get any answers.

You bring up some great points Cody and to be honest you read my mind exactly when you say they have no time for wrestling anymore than the WWE does. Wrestling is no longer TNA's strong suit because now they are going to be relying on creativity and swerves as far as the focus of the company goes. If we are grading in ring wrestling

ROH = A+

TNA = C+

WWE= F-

TNA is no longer a place that you can exist without the mic skills which is one of the main reasons that Desmond Wolf is an instant success

TNA is a mixed bag for me anymore. I'm getting SOOOO sick and tired of the Hogan bullshit already. I'm also not so sure I'm a fan of this challenge of Black Machismo's right now because it seems like a way to bring in more old guys to take over the TV time even more than Hogan (who has yet to actually appear at the Impact Zone), Nash, and Steiner already do. I mean Jim Neidhart last week looked like he was carrying triplets in that pink outfit. To me they need to truly focus on the younger talent like they claim to instead of putting so much money into Hogan and the other old guys.

One of the things in TNA that I like is they aren't so damn PG whereas WWE has developed hemophobia and a fear of anything even remotely edgey. What TNA needs to do to really compete with WWE is to provide what the WWE doesn't. They need to keep having matches with blood, barbed wire, tacks, and the works. They need to refocus on the wrestling and take the focus off the promos. Tell the story more in the ring than outside of it. They have a women's division that can ACTUALLY WRESTLE. When I first started watching TNA I was blown away by their women's division and unlike in the WWE the fans actually give a shit when the Knockouts get in the ring and not just because they have big tits. TNA needs to focus on their strong points that serve as a counterpoint to how damn weak those things are in the WWE. The way to compete with the WWE is not to copy them it is to show the world what they are missing by only watching WWE. They have a roster that, for the most part, is capable of wrestling amazing matches that last longer than 5 minutes and they need to use that to their advantage instead of introducing and focusing on even more old guys.

Now when it comes to them absorbing the ROH roster, oh hell no! I watch ROH every week to get an injection of good wrestling in my system. Their main events blow the main events of TNA and WWE out of the water. As VerbalCody said, that match between the American Wolves and Strong/Danielson was AMAZING and everyone should watch it. There is more pure wrestling in the one hour of ROH every week than there is on all of the WWE's shows combined with TNA. I only recently started watching it but it has quickly become, by far, my favorite wrestling show on television. To be perfectly honest if it wasn't for Kofi finally getting a good push, I wouldn't even bother to watch RAW on Monday nights because it's just a disappointment after watching ROH.
